Additional Supplemental Testing LOW VOLUME LABORATORIES If the laboratory performs less than 60 primary examinations per year, they must submit an additional seven complete and bilateral primary case studies for a total of twelve (12) cases. At least two of the additional cases must be abnormal. All required additional supplemental case studies must also be submitted. Case Study Requirements: Reaccreditation ApplicantsBecause laboratories applying for reaccreditation have previously documented substantial compliance to the Standards, the number of required case studies at reaccreditation is reduced.
