ONLINE ACCREDITATION:
COMING SOON
The
Online Accreditation application will greatly improve
the process of applying for ICANL accreditation. Prior
to releasing this exciting new format for use by laboratories,
the ICANL is making final adjustments and enhancements
to add to the usability.
|
NEW
FORMAT IS EXTREMELY USER-FRIENDLY
- Online
help is provided throughout the application
- Most
questions are linked to the related Standards
- Flags
mark questions that potentially lack adherence to the Standards
- Most
of the application can be submitted without printing; most
attachments can be submitted in either electronic or paper
format, whichever is more convenient
ACCESS
TO DATA IS GREATLY IMPROVED
- Data
is retained and can be worked on consistently between accreditation
cycles
- Instant
access to most recent submission data is provided
- Accessible
from any Internet-based computer (allows work from laboratory
and other offsite locations such as home offices, etc.)
- Data
is transmitted reliably and accurately to the ICANL
EFFICIENT
FOR LABORATORIES APPLYING FOR REACCREDITATION
- Laboratories
that are already accredited will receive a username and
password to access their Online Accreditation application
- Much
of the lab's data submitted with the previous application
will be available; this will save the staff considerable
time by requiring them to only make necessary updates in
preparation for reaccreditation
All
laboratories that have previously purchased the ICANL Accreditation
Materials will be provided access to Online Accreditation; each
laboratory will receive their personalized login and password
information by mail. For those purchasing the application for
the first time, ICANL Online Accreditation will be available
via an online order form on the ICANL website.
