Tips For Successful Accreditation

AVOID
APPLICATION PROCESSING DELAYS
- Read
the directions carefully -- application must be typed
(i.e. computer-generated).
- Print
out and submit two (2) complete copies of the application
to the ICANL. Print a third complete copy to keep for yourself.
- Read,
sign and send the current Accreditation Agreement downloaded
from www.icanl.org/icanl/apply/agreements.htm.
- Missing
or expired credentials and certifications are not acceptable.
AVOID RECEIVING A DELAY ACCREDITATION
DECISION
- Submit
complete imaging protocols for all procedures performed, e.g.
Acquisition, Processing, and Display/Labeling (2.2.10);
Exercise and pharmacologic stress charts and infusion protocols
- Only
one case study may be normal, e.g. 4 out of 5 RMPI must
be abnormal
- Random
case selection is no longer required for ERNA studies
- Missing

- Use
