Serving as the basis for the accreditation program, The ICAVL Standards are an extensive document defining the minimal requirements for noninvasive vascular laboratories to provide high quality care. The Standards are used by laboratories as both a guideline and the foundation to create and achieve realistic quality care goals. Whether applying for first-time accreditation or reaccreditation, the first step toward success is review of the Standards by every member of the laboratory staff involved in the application.
The following documents are The ICAVL Standards for accreditation only. Serving the laboratory as the accompanying guide through the ICAVL accreditation process, The Standards must be referenced when completing the ICAVL Online Accreditation application.
